Leroy A. Goebel, of Rosedale, MD, died Tuesday August 9, 2005 in the Laurelwood Center in Elkton, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, on May 18, 1929, he was the son of the late John Frederick Goebel and the late Ellen Amelia Anderson Goebel. Mr. Goebel was a resident of Cecil County for five years. He was a retired master carpenter who worked on commercial construction in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of the Joppa Lodge #32, A.F. & A.M., Baltimore, MD. Mr. Goebel enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing and SCUBA diving. He is survived by a daughter Christy Michaud, North East, MD; and a brother John F. Goebel, Jr. of Pasadena, MD, two granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Predeceased by his wife, Helen Goebel in May 2000.<br>Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday August 12, 2005 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where relatives and friends may call on Thursday evening August 11, 2005 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Masonic will be held at 7:30 P.M. Rev. Mary Browne of Hart's United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7201 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD.
