Leonard Franklin Pugh, Sr.

Leonard Franklin Pugh, Sr., 93 of North East, MD, passed away December 15, 2007 after a long illness at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, where he resided. Born on March 3, 1914 in North East, MD, he was the son of the late Robert and Rhoda Pugh. Mr. Pugh retired from Logan's Electric Corp. of North East after 50 years of service. A loving father, he enjoyed ice fishing, golf and bowling. He also enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Survivors include his children: Leonard F. Pugh, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Ireland, WV; Roger L. Pugh and wife Vickie of North East, MD; Betty Hollenbaugh and husband John of Conowingo, MD; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pugh was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Angeline Pugh; and siblings: Nelson Pugh; Robert Pugh, Jr.; and Helen Ward. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call after 11:00 AM.
