Leon A. Hall

Leon A Hall, Jr., 65 of Rising Sun, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on October 20, 1958, he was the son of the late Leon Augustus Hall, Sr., and Josephine (Bowser) Hall.

Leon graduated from North East High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the Marine Corps, Leon worked as a skilled tradesperson in the construction industry as a Concrete Finisher, a career that he entered and retained in large part due to his lifelong friend, Bobby Bradley. When he was not working, he enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and watching his favorite sports teams (Washington Commanders, Baltimore Orioles, and the Maryland Terrapins). Leon was also known for his talented drawings and being an avid reader.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Patricia (Jones) Hall; daughter: LaCentra C. Williams (Kenyatta, Sr.) of Glen Burnie, MD; stepdaughter: Kimberly R. Townley of Elkton, MD; stepson: James A. Lucas-Pratt, Jr. of Elkton, MD; one brother: Lamont A. Hall (Dalarie) of Edgewood, MD; his grandson: Kenyatta J. Williams, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD; step grandchildren: Malik Allen of Elkton, MD, Malachi Lucas-Pratt of Elkton, MD, Drayden Lucas-Pratt of North East, MD, Zander Lucas-Pratt of North East, MD, Angelina Lucas-Pratt of Elkton, MD, Aubrey Lucas-Pratt of Elkton, MD; aunt: Rosa Brown of Aberdeen, MD; his stepmother: Dorothy Cevis Hall of Darlington, MD; and a host of cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his nephew: Lamont Hall, Jr.

Homegoing services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
