Lena Kate Grogg

Lena Kate Grogg, 88 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, January 29, 2010 in Laurelwood Care Center, Elkton, MD. Born in Mouth of Wilson, VA, on January 24, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and the late Julia Halsey. She was the wife of the late Jerome Grogg who died on November 28, 2001. She liked wrestling and watching soap operas. She also enjoyed canning and cooking. She is survived by one sister: Ruth Casalvera of Wilmington, DE; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons: James and Harold Cochran. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Jack Cohen will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
