Lawrence W. Montgomery
Born in Welch, WV, on September 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Lester and the late Gracie (Charles) Montgomery.
He was a truck driver for Greggo & Ferrara.
Lawrence was a member of Teamsters 367. He enjoyed NASCAR, football especially the Ravens and listening to country music. He loved his dog “Baby Girl”.
Survivors include his companion of 19 years: Debbie Jones of Elkton, MD; 6 children: Gloria Pugh of Jacksonville, FL, Glenda Adkins of Zanesville, OH, Tammy Jean Montgomery of Edgewood, MD, Connie Jean Walsh of Elkton, MD, Timothy Reed of Elkton, MD and Eden Hicks of Rockwood, TN; 1 brother: Reese Montgomery of Quarryville, PA; 6 sisters: Cassie Wilkinson of Quarryville, PA, Shirley Nichols of Conowingo, MD, Carrie Nichols of Conowingo, MD, Jeannie Briney of Bristol, VA, Ruby Harding of Wheeling, WV, Carol Rogers of Bristol, TN; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
