Lawrence Ralph Haga

Lawrence Ralph Haga, age 82, of Rising Sun, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, Maryland. Born in Fair Wood, Virginia, on December 9, 1921, he was the son of the late Bruce and Delora Sapp Haga. He was a resident of Cecil County for 7 years. Mr. Haga was a mushroom grower in the Nottingham, Pennsylvania area for over 30 years, and also was a retired piano technician. He was a member of the Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, Rising Sun, Maryland. Mr. Haga is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene H. Haga, Rising Sun, Maryland; children, Elinor Martzall and her husband, Rev. Charles Martzall, Camp Hill, Maryland, and Diane England and her husband, Rev. Jeffrey England, Rising Sun, Maryland; sister, Jewel Biggers, and her children, Sterling Heights, Michigan; grandsons, Ralph Martzall, his wife, Marilyn, and their 3 children, Kentucky, and John Martzall and his wife, Celeste, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Stephen England, at home; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2004, at Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, 325 Bard Cameron Road, Rising Sun, Maryland, where visitation starts at 1:30 PM, prior to the services at the church. Rev. Jeffrey England and Rev. Charles Martzall will officiate. Interment will be in Bible Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
