Kenneth Clinton Slaughter Kenneth Clinton Slaughter, age 86, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2004, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, on June 20, 1917, he was the son of the late James Clinton and Ruth Finley Slaughter. He was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for 17 years. Mr. Slaughter retired in 1986, as a self-employed carnival concessionaire, traveling all over the East Coast. He was a 50+ year member of the Masonic Lodge, Franklin #7, A.F. & A.M., Buckhannon, West Virginia, and a member of Acca Temple Shrine, Richmond, Virginia. He enjoyed fishing and sitting with his dog. Mr. Slaughter is survived by his of 65 years, Katherine Slaughter, Elkton, Maryland; sons, James C. Slaughter and his wife, Elena, and Frank Slaughter and his wife, Betty, all of Elkton, Maryland; grandchildren, Stephany Lynn, Dr. Clinton A., and Jason M. Slaughter and wife, Wendy L., and Cindy L. Clinton and her husband, Michael L. Clinton; and great-grandchildren, Nathan M., and Abigail Slaughter. At the request of the family, services and interment will be private.
