Kenneth L. Rasnake

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Kenneth L. Rasnake, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 66.

Kenneth was born on May 30, 1958 in Elkton, MD to Curtis and Peggy (Barton) Rasnake. Ken spent his childhood years in Elkton, MD. He attended higher education at Towson University in Towson, MD.

Kenneth enjoyed working daily alongside his family in the family business, Elkton Homes of Elkton, MD for 50 years. He served in the capacity as Vice President and was also the Head of Operations for various communities owned by the family such as Bay Country Estates, Sherwood Forrest, and Forrest View Village.

Kenneth’s love transformed the lives of everyone he encountered. Ken loved fishing, music, family time, games, and storytelling. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, share himself, and evoke that same spirit of love and laughter in each person he knew.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Michael, father, Curtis and his son, Dorian.

He is survived by his wife Mary Anne  (Uniacke) Rasnake, his daughters Dana Arnold and Skye Sexton, his son Curtis Quinn Rasnake, his son-in law Ryan Sexton, and his daughter-in-law Melissa Rasnake, and four beloved grandchildren Grayson, Connor, Ronan, and Sage. He is also survived by his mother Peggy Rasnake, sister Vanessa and husband William Taylor, sister Teresa and husband John Price, brother Jonathan and wife Victoria Rasnake, and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, September 13, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am following Friday’s visitation at the funeral home.

Interment will follow services at North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
