Kathleen Pender Lockhart

Kathleen Pender Lockhart, born September 7, 1928 in Havre de Grace, MD, Passed in her home on September 24, 2014.

She was married for 65 years to the previously deceased Mr. Leonard H. Lockhart, Sr.  Mrs. Lockhart met her husband at Aberdeen Proving Ground and married at the Little Chapel in Elkton, MD.  They were lifelong residents of Cecil County.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She leaves behind two daughters and one son; four grandsons and two granddaughters; and two great granddaughters and one great grandson.  She leaves a special companion dog, Halo who will also miss her very much.

Mrs. Lockhart was cared for at home by a group of loving caregivers.  The Lockhart family thanks them very much for their dedicated care of the last two years.  We also would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their help.
