Katherine Privett England February 19, 1941 – April 16, 2012 With her immediate family in attendance, Katherine graduated from this life into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, late Monday night. The daughter of the late Virgil and late Launa Privett of Matheny, WV, Katherine was preceded in death by her brothers: James Privett, Jack Privett and Jerry Privett and most recently by her loving husband of 52 years, Frank England of Charlestown, MD. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Katherine retired form Terumo Medical Corporation in 1989. She loved cooking, gardening, going to church and spending time with her family. Katherine is survived by daughter Karen L. Harrington and husband Dr. John A. Harrington of North East, MD; son David M. England and his wife Beverly also of North East, MD; grandchildren, Robyn M. Meyers and her husband Chris of Cherry Hill, NJ, Hayley England, Noah England and Hannah Harrington; and one great granddaughter, Lily Meyers. Services will be held at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, MD 21904 on Friday, April 20, 2012; viewing will be 5:30 -7:00 PM, funeral services immediately following at 7:00 PM. Interment services will be at North East Methodist Cemetery on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Harold M. Phillips, Dr. John A. Harrington and Rev. Josh M. Phillips presiding. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the building fund of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
