June C. (Crouch) Seeney

June C. Seeney, 96 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care Unit of Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Elk Neck, MD, on June 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Laurence M. and the late Ella G. (Arrants) Crouch.  She was the wife of the late Marion Seeney.

She retired from the New Castle County Sheriff’s Office where she worked in the Clerical Department.

Mrs. Seeney was a member of Holly Oak Calvary United Methodist Church, Wilmington, DE.

She is survived by one daughter: Doris S. Gustafson (Kerry) of Chesapeake City, MD and two sons: Laurence H. Seeney (Laurie) of Madison, NC and Nelson G. Seeney of New Castle, DE; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at North East United Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
