Julie C. (Buchanan) Adams
Born in War, WV, on June 24, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Hazel (Winebarger) Buchanan.
Teenie enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Disney World. She loved working with the NEHS Cheerleaders and they all affectionately called her “Cheer Nana”.
She is survived by her loving husband: Duane S. Adams; her daughter: Tina L. Holmes (Donald) and granddaughter: Brittany Holmes all of North East, MD; 6 siblings: Jimmy Buchanan (Judy) of Belleview, FL, Jerry Buchanan (Carol) of Elkton, MD, Gerald Buchanan of Elkton, MD, Loretta Comegys (Bob) of North East, MD, Perle Mann (Bill) of Elkton, MD and Merle Gilbert (Huck) of North East, MD; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Buchanan.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Phil Meekins will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where the family will receive guests on Saturday evening, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Interment for immediate family only will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10:00 am in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
