Judy Virginia Hartley

Judy Virginia Hartley, 58 of Horntown, VA, formerly of Elkton, MD died suddenly Monday, May 30, 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD, on October 25, 1952, she was the daughter of the late August and the late Dorothy Burton Epperson. She was the wife of the late Phillip Hartley Sr. who died in 2007. Judy worked as a clerk in the General Store at Chincoteague Island Campgrounds. She was a member of Trails End Church, Trails End, VA. Survivors include her children: Nanette Racine, Diana Beveridge both of Elkton, MD and Phillip Hartley, Jr. of Magnolia, DE; 2 sisters: Peep and Linda; and her grandchildren: Jessica Hartley, Kevin, Ethan and Aiden. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bridget J. Palmer. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to help with expenses to Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.
