Josephine M. (Zynel) Yanchulis

Josephine M. Yanchulis, 97 of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Elkton Transitional Care Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Shenandoah, PA, on March 19, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Gurska) Zynel.  She was the wife of the late William A. Yanchulis.

Mrs. Yanchulis is survived by a daughter-on-law: Patricia A. Yanchulis of Elkton, MD; one sister: Mary Savitsky of Westfield, IN; three grandchildren: Ann Marie Griffith of Chesapeake City, MD, Elaine Margaret Underwood of Charlestown, MD,  William Joseph Yanchulis, Jr. of Knoxville, TN; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: William J. Yanchulis; and a daughter: Elaine Margaret Yanchulis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am in the chapel at the church.

Interment will follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
