Joseph J. Ingram, Jr., 74 of Colora, MD, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the VA Hospital of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD.
He was born in Marion, AL, on July 22nd, 1940, the son of the late Joseph Jefferson and the late Lilly M (Lott) Ingram.
Joseph was a United States Army Staff Sergeant with 20 years of service. He also retired from the Civil Service as an Exhibit Specialist, and Ingram Demolition, Tallassee, AL.
He was a member of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun, MD. Joseph was known to “take care of everybody.”
Survivors include three daughters: Sharon Ann Graybeal of North East, MD, Sandra Lynn Van-Fossan of Peachtree City, GA, Jill McClintick of Rising Sun, MD and two sons: Bill McDuffy of Augusta, GA, Joseph J. McDuffy of Tampa, FL: and his 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his late wife, Janet Ingram.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend, Joseph’s funeral service Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at 12:00pm, with visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at Glorious Presence Church, 1552 Singerly Road, Elkton, MD.
Interment with full military honors will follow in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joe Ingram Memorial Fund at Glorious Presence Church.
