Joseph M. Crawford

Joseph M. Crawford, 69 of North East, MD, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 in the Heartland Hospice House, Wilmington, DE.

Born in Stanton, VA, on February 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Earl H. and the late Nora Crawford.

Mr. Crawford worked as a floor covering installer for his son at Pro Flooring, North East, MD.  He enjoyed keeping busy and worked all the time.  When he did slow down, he enjoyed cars and fishing.

Survivors include 6 children:  by three daughters: Vicky Crawford of FL, Tammy Crawford of TX, Michael Crawford of North East, MD, Jolene Crawford of VA, Joseph Crawford, Jr. and Alvin Crawford both of North East, MD; a sister: Sharon Webb of Frederica, DE; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathy Mullins; his brothers: Butch, Lee, Chuck; and his sister: Linda.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm until service.

Interment will follow in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
