Joseph John Clausius

Joseph John Clausius, 88 of Rising Sun, MD, died Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. He was born in Tamaqua, PA, on September 8, 1922. He was an Equipment Operator, employed by Maryland Materials in North East, MD Mr. Clausius is survived by four daughters: Marie Reese and husband Donald of Lehighton, PA, Joan Ann Garber of Tamaqua, PA, Betty Clausius of Tamaqua, PA, Linda Moreno and husband Alex of Tijuana and four sons: John Clausius and wife Denise of Cecilton, MD, Conrad Clausius and wife Anita of Rising Sun, MD, Joseph Clausius of Tamaqua, PA, Edward Clausius and wife Nancy of Tamaqua, PA; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ovaline Alma Clausius, who died 2004. Graveside services, conducted by Rev. Ken Murray, will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Union Cemetery, Union Church Road, Elkton, MD.
