Jolynn (Keavney) Miller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jolynn Miller, who left us peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 61. Jolynn was born on August 11, 1963, in Elkton, MD. She touched the lives of many as a cafeteria aide at Cecil County Public Schools, where her warmth and cheerful presence brightened the days of countless students.

Jolynn was a beloved wife to John Miller, Elkton, MD, and a devoted mother to her sons: Roy Edward May Jr. of Hinton, WV, Richard Allen May of Elkton, MD, and twin daughters: Michelle Barton and Melissa May both of North East, MD; stepchildren: John Lewis Miller III of Elkton, MD, Melissa Meekins of Rising Sun, MD. She is also survived by her 16 cherished grandchildren, as well as her brothers Richard Keaveny of North East, MD, and Thaddeus Ditzel of Baltimore, MD, and her mother, Linda Gail (Corron) Ditzel of Baltimore, MD.

Jolynn was preceded in death by: father, Tommy Keaveny; late husbands, Roy May and James Hamilton.

To honor Jolynn's life, services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025. A public viewing will take place at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service, which will start at 11:00 AM. She will then be laid to rest following services at North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
