John Gibson Woolman

John "Jack" Gibson Woolman, 76 of Elkton, MD, formerly of North East, died Friday, November 30, 2007 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on July 28, 1931, he was the son of the late John and the late Mary Gibson Woolman. Mr. Woolman was the husband of Joan Marie Woolman of Elkton, MD. Mr. Woolman served in the Air Force. He worked in Maintenance at American Cynamid, Havre de Grace, MD and Atlas Plumbing, North East, MD. He enjoyed working and gardening. In addition to his wife, survivors include: his children: Susan M. Hazelwood of Elkton, MD; Teresa Sanders of Elkton, MD; Jane Woolman of North East, MD; John Woolman of North East, MD; Joseph Woolman of Charlestown, MD; and William Woolman of Elkton, MD; two sisters: Mary Lou Kobosko of Middletown, DE; Shirley Watson of Johns Island, SC; also 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granchild. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rev. Mary Browne will officiate. Interment will follow in Elkton Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
