John Thomas Simmons

John T. Simmons, 64 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Baltimore, MD.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 13, 1954, he was the son of the late William James and Alice Ruth (Nevel) Simmons, Sr. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Margery Ann Simmons. Also, one brother: Robert Simmons and two sisters: Gloria Frush and Ruth Simmons.

Prior to retirement due to illness, John was a welder for many years.

He is survived by one brother: William J. Simmons, Jr. (Jean); nieces and nephew.

Services were held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. With interment following services at West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
