John Entwistle Pennington

John Entwistle Pennington, 93 of Charlestown, MD, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at home. Born in Chester, PA, on May 17, 1913, he was the son of the late Kenzie E. and the late Nellie E. Fox Pennington. Mr. Pennington was a member of the Charlestown, Greenridge, Ogden, Boothwyn, and Lenni Heights Fire Companies. He was also active in the Aston Athletic Association and Aston-Middletown Baseball. He retired as an Operator, employed by Sun Oil Company Marcus hook, PA. Survived by his wife: Mildred K. Pennington, Charlestown, MD one daughter: Joan E. Berry of Media, PA and one son: John E. Pennington of Newark, DE. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where friends may call 1 hour before the service.
