John Robert “Bob” Page, 74 of North East, MD, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Perryville, MD, on December 3, 1938, he was the son of the late James K. and the late Lois M. (Hasson) Page.

Bob graduated from Perryville High School in 1956 and from the University of Baltimore with a BS in 1970, Magnum Cum Laude.  He served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1957-1960.  He retired from the Dept. of Defense, working at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a Supervisory Management Analyst.

He was a member of Principio United Methodist Church; enjoyed golfing and fishing on the North East River and the Flats.

Survivors include his loving wife: Betty Page of North East, MD; 2 daughters: Pamela Cicchetti (Anthony) of Newark, DE and Michelle Decker (Robert) of Greenville, VA; 3 stepsons: David E. Holmes (Tamarya) of Elkton, MD, Donald M. Holmes (Tina) of North East, MD and Daniel W. Holmes (Lori) of North East, MD; his siblings:  James A. Page, M. Joan McCardell, Beverly J. McMillan all of Perryville, MD; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by a brother: Carl J. Page who died in 2012.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, April 4, 2013 beginning at 1:00 PM until service time at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.

Interment with full military honors will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Principio United Methodist Church or the Wounded Warrior Project, both in care of the funeral home.
