John Millard Noel

John "Jack" Millard Noel age 74 of Perryville, Maryland died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late John Francis Noel and Mabel Virginia Kirby Noel. He served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954 which he was awarded the Korean Service medal, the U.N. Service medal and the National Defense Service medal. He retired from the Perry Point VA Medical Center with over 40 years of service as a nursing assistant. He was a member of the Perryville Little League, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and enjoyed bowling, the Boston Red Sox and Abbott and Costello. He is survived by his wife Betty June Gatchell Noel of Perryville, Maryland. Also survived by his children: Michael James Noel, Lori Jean King and Richard David Noel of Perryville, Maryland, his brother Donald Lee Noel of Elkton, Maryland and three grandchildren, Heather King, Jessica King and Aleesha Noel. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 20 at the funeral home Father Richard Kempski will officiate. Interment, North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD with full military honors.
