John Frederick Leschefsky

John Frederick Leschefsky, age 67, of Elkton, Maryland, formerly of North East, Maryland, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, Maryland. Born on December 19, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late, John F. Leschefsky, Sr. and Alice Lance Leschefsky. He was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for over five years. Mr. Leschefsky retired from AT&T as a supervisor with 22 years of service. He also worked for The Old Telephone Company, Baltimore, Maryland for 12 years. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Leschefsky was the husband of the late, Blanche C. Leschefsky, who died on January 12, 2000. Survivors include his children, John Joseph Leschefsky, New Freedom, Pennsylvania, Sandra K. Christensen, Millsboro, Delaware, Robert J. Leschefsky, Abingdon, Maryland and Steven J. Leschefsky, Baltimore, Maryland; and eight-grandchildren. Family and friends may call Friday, August 22, 2003 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Chapel at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Baltimore, Maryland. Entombment will follow services in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
