John Thomas “J.T.” Jensen, 36 of North East, MD, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 in the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, Baltimore, MD.
He was born in Elkton, MD, on December 20, 1975.
J.T. served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a mechanic for Amtrak.
He enjoyed his motorcycle, and was a true ‘Motorhead” enjoying all motor sports, especially NASCAR, Demolition Derby and Monster Trucks. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. Most of all, J.T. loved the time he spent with his wife and children.
Survivors include his loving wife: Sarah Lyn (Hess) Jensen, of North East, MD; his children: James, Timothy, Steven, Hunter, Matthew, Emily, Zachery, Riley and Patrick, all at home; his parents: Jens “Jay” and Cindy (David) Jensen of Elk Mills, MD; grandmother: Julia Jensen of Elkton, MD; 3 sisters; his best friend: Jeff McCarter of Port Deposit, MD; his in-laws: Ralph and Linda Hess of Elkton, MD; and numerous other family and many friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Father John Solomon will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jensen Children Memorial Fund, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.
