John William "Billy" Howell

John William "Billy" Howell, age 55 of North East, MD, died Thursday, September 30, 2004, in North East, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on December 25, 1948, he was the son of the late Jesse Nolan, Sr., and Lucille Randolph Hypes Howell. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, MD. Billy worked for 27 years as a concrete finisher for Vernon Ford, North East, MD. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, horse racing, drag racing and NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-brother, Nolan Howell. He is survived by his children, Jessica Hines, Elkton, MD and William Scotty Howell, North East, MD; step-brother, Eugene Howell, North East, MD and two granddaughters, Katlynn Marie and Brittany Nicole Hines. Family and friends may visit from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2004, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2004, at the funeral home. Rev. Dennis R. Gilbert of Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, Charlestown, MD will officiate.
