John Lewis Combs, Jr.

John Lewis Combs, Jr., 43 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in Little Britain, PA. Born in Elkton, MD, on April 15, 1963, he was the son of Judy F. Cooper Moore and the late John Lewis Combs, Sr. He was a Construction Worker, last employed by Mumford & Miller, Odessa, DE. Mr. Combs enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and the beach. He also enjoyed Nascar and playing cards. But he most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 16 years: Marilyn Smith Combs, Elkton, MD; Three daughters: Amy L. Combs and her fiancee, Daniel Phillips, Jr., Kelly A. Combs, Sarah E. Combs all of Elkton, MD; also one son: Shawn Woerner of DE. He is also survived by his mother Judy F. Moore and her husband Brian, Little Britain, PA; one sister, Sherry L. Poore and her husband Clark, Elkton, MD. And one grandson, Daniel J. Phillips, III, Elkton, MD; and 3 nephews, Dan, Derek and David. Private services were held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Interment was in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. Rev.
