Joeann W. (Wright) Willey
Born in Vienna, VA, on August 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Hattie Wright.
Mrs. Willey retired from DuPont Co. after 28 years of service in the Human Resources and Benefits Department.
She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her farm, horses, and critters. Her happiest times were spent outdoors with her flower gardens and grandchildren. She will always be remembered with a smile on her face and a prayer in her heart.
Survivors include her beloved husband: VanDoran E. Willey; their children: Michael Willey (Annette) of Smyrna, DE, Matthew Willey (Andrea) of Colora, MD, Sheila Booth (Brian) of Gretna, LA and Janet Storch of Middletown, DE; two brothers: Ray Wright of Lovingston, VA, Charlie Wright of Front Royal, VA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to: Helen Graham Cancer Center Research Department, in care of the funeral home.
