Joan Marie (Strobel) Mcgowan

Joan Marie McGowan, 80 of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the Laurelwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, Elkton, MD.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara Strobel.  She was the wife of the late Gordon E. McGowan who passed January 19, 2018.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. McGowan worked as a secretary in the insurance industry.

She is survived by one daughter: Kelly Campbell of Bel Air, MD and one son: Mark E. McGowan (Megumi) of Edgewood, MD; two grandchildren: Tyler Campbell and Amanda Campbell; and three great grandchildren: Alyssa, Chloey and Lilli.

Interment will be private.
