Joan C. (Cox) Jackson

Joan C. Jackson, 72 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, December 22, 2016.

Born in West Chester, PA, on February 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Jennie (Fritz) Cox.  Mrs. Jackson was the wife of the late Burton E. Jackson, Sr.

A member of Wesley UM Church, Elkton, MD, she enjoyed memory books, sewing, fishing, camping, anything outdoors and kids, especially her grandsons, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two sons: Burton E. Jackson, Jr and Richard A. Jackson both of Elkton, MD; a brother: James H. Cox of Rawlinsville, PA; a sister: Esther Stout of Rising Sun, MD; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her brother: William Cox.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Kemblesville Cemetery, Kemblesville, PA.
