Jessy Dean Handy, Sr.

Jessy Dean Handy, Sr., 61 of Port Deposit, MD, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at home.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on October 7, 1953, he was the son of the late Coy Handy and Lula Handy of Elkton, MD.

He was the owner/operator of J. Handy Excavating, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his children: Jessy Dean Handy, Jr. of North East, MD, Gladys Christine Andrichyn of Fredericksburg, TX, Brenda Lee Ream of North East, MD, Coy Joseph Handy of Cecilton, MD and Jessica Marie Handy of Washington, DC; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; and his siblings: Ben Handy, Susie Walker and Brenda Darnell all of Elkin, NC, Margie Hughes of Eltopia, WA, Helen Handy of Raleigh, NC, Linda Handy of Laurel, DE, Marie Ward, Georgia Schneider and Michael Handy all of Elkton, MD.
