Jerry Poe Stine

Jerry Poe Stine, 82 of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA.

Born in Downingtown, PA, on July 12, 1938, he was the son of the late John F. Stine and Beulah (Poe) Kreisher.

Jerry retired from Chrysler Corp., Newark, DE, where he worked as an electrician for many years.  He started working at the age of 9 at Lenape Park, first picking up bottles before graduating to running the Merry Go Round, his most fun job.

He was a PIAA Basketball referee for over 40 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years: Peggie (Reynolds) Stine; three children: Cathy Dommel of Lititz, PA, Scott Stine of Hayfork, CA and Susan Urbine of Coatesville, PA.  He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Karen Bunnell will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Jerry's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation,  in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
