Jerry Gene Hodge

Jerry Gene Hodge, 78 of North East, MD, died Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Born in Sparta, NC, on April 16, 1942, he was the son of the late Edward and Mattie (Smithers) Hodge.

Jerry retired from Mid Atlantic Carpenters Union, working for many years as a welder and carpenter.  He enjoyed boating.

Survivors include his wife: Alice M. (Murray) Hodge; his children: Jerry Hodge (Shirley) of North East, MD, Rosa Hodge of Knoxville, TN and Kim Hogate (Tom) of Elkton, MD; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 7 siblings: James, Rose, Shirley, Rex, Texie, Vie and Sue.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son: Joshua Hodge; and five siblings: Herbert, Robert, Betty, Larry and Julie.
