Jerry Ray Buckland, Sr.
Born in Hinton, WV, on January 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Paul Thomas and the late Emma Jean (Willey) Buckland.
Mr. Buckland was a truck driver for Greggo & Ferrara, Inc. He loved mules, goats and sheep.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce (May) Buckland of North East, MD; his children: Curtis L. Buckland, Sr. of North East, MD, Jeanie Lou Buckland-Jones of Port Deposit, MD and Jerry Ray Buckland, Jr. of North East, MD; and 2 brothers: Jimmy Buckland of North East, MD and Larry Buckland of Port Deposit, MD.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Judy Sharp and Freda Fay May; and 2 brothers: Claude and Roger Buckland.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
