Jerald W. Evans

Jerald W. “Jerry” Evans, 50 of Charlestown, MD and Oxford, PA, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Greenville, KY, on September 26, 1966, he was the son of the late James and Frances Arlene (Peterson) Evans.   During his childhood, Jerry lived in Texas and Mississippi.

Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army.  He worked in the produce industry and was the owner/operator of Thorough Inspections, Inc. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and horse racing.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years: Nicole (Stayton) Evans; two brothers: James Evans (Tracy) of Cookville, TN and Joe Evans (Sarah) of Nashville, TN; and several nephews and one niece.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 2:00 pm until service time.
