He was born in Elkton, MD, on July 6, 1975.
Jeff was a self-employed general contractor. He enjoyed playing the bass guitar, watching football and hockey.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Cheyanne Blake and Alexis McKinney both of North East, MD; his mother: Debra (Cloud) Leight and husband John of Nottingham, PA; his father: Edgar McKinney, Jr. of North East, MD; 3 siblings: Susan Hess and husband Tony of Trumbauersville, PA, David McKinney of Amherst, VA and Lisa Goodwin and husband Rodger of North East, MD; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jeff was predeceased by his late wife: Dawn Marie McKinney who died Dec. 14, 2008.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the funeral home to help with expenses.
