Jeffrey Dean Mahala

Jeffrey Dean Mahala, 64 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

He was born in Elkton, MD on December 21, 1956.

Jeffrey served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a truck driver for Medline.

A member of Crossroads Bible Church, he enjoyed traveling and motorcycle riding.  He was a big fan of drag racing, enjoyed music concerts and all types of cars.

Survivors include his loving wife: Sandy (Kutcher) Mahala; two sons: Tim and his wife Gwen Hendrickson of Abington, MD and Eric and his wife Karyssa Mahala-Nevins of Abingdon, MD; his mother: Betty (Murray) Mahala of Elkton, MD; a sister: Karen Brown and brother: Scott Mahala both of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren: Mahala Hendrickson, Heidi Justice; and his beloved companion, his dog, Petra.

He was preceded in death by his father: Billy Dean Mahala; and a brother: Barry Mahala.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Bible Church, 144 Appleton Road, Elkton, MD.
