J.D. Aleshire

J. D. Aleshire, 60 of Largo, FL, formerly of Chesapeake City, MD, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in the Largo Medical Center, Largo, FL. Born in Gordon, WV, on June 17, 1949, he was the son of the late Albert and the late Mami Shepard Aleshire. He enjoyed fishing, church and his dog, Coco Poo, man's best friend. Survivors include his companion, Helen Ward, of Largo, FL; his children: Sabrina Fisher and her husband Mark of Elkton, MD, Kenny Aleshire of Elkton, MD, Lacinda Adams and her husband Neal of North East, MD, Dwayne Bailiff and his wife Rachel of Perryville, MD, Elizabeth Day and her husband Ed of Jewell Ridge, VA, Lois Stowers and her husband Tommy of Elkton, MD, Barbara Fritz and her husband George of Newark, DE, and Harry Ward of Elkton, MD; his siblings: Edgar Lee Aleshire of North East, MD, Betty Davis of Fairborn, OH, Loretta Goodwin of Elizabethtown, PA, Lucille Workman of Columbus, OH, Sue Trosino of NC; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Aleshire and two sisters, Pauline Goodwin and Patty Ann Rowland. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Ralph Massie will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM.
