Jason “Jay” Lee Paoletti, a beloved son, brother, uncle, fiancé, partner, and friend, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2026.

Jay was the beloved son of Christine Ivey and the late Nicholas Paoletti. He is survived by his loving mother, Christine Ivey; his brother, Nicholas Paoletti, and his wife, Amanda; his sister, Dawn Paoletti, and her partner, Billy; and his brother, David Barton, and his partner, Paige.

Jay was a proud and loving uncle to Samuel Stanley, Tessa Paoletti, Blake Couden, Arya Barton, Octavia Couden, and Marciella Green. Each of his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart, and the memories they shared with their uncle will be treasured forever.

He is also survived by his beloved fiancée, Amanda Carrow, and her children, CJ Wilkerson and his partner, Devin, and Haley Wilkerson, as well as his cherished grandchild, Harper Wilkerson. Jay embraced each of them with love and became an important part of their lives. He will also be deeply missed by his two faithful companions, Stella and Kona, his beloved dogs who were never far from his side and brought him so much happiness.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Paoletti, and his grandparents.

Jay lived life with passion, curiosity, and a love for the things that made him happiest. As an auto mechanic, he was happiest with his hands on a car, figuring out how things worked, solving problems, and bringing an engine back to life. Working on cars was more than a job to Jay, it was something he genuinely loved.

He also had a deep passion for racing. There was a sense of freedom and excitement that came with being behind the wheel, and he embraced every opportunity to experience it. Jay was an avid motorcycle rider who loved the open road, the feeling of being on two wheels, and the friendships he formed along the way. The motorcycle community, particularly HR Nation, became an important part of his life and brought him a brotherhood and sisterhood of people who shared his passion and understood the joy of the ride.

But more than anything he accomplished or the things he loved, Jay’s greatest legacy will be found in the people whose lives he touched.

Jay had a way of becoming part of people’s lives and leaving behind memories that will never be forgotten. He will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and a large brotherhood and sisterhood of friends who loved him, stood beside him, laughed with him, and shared countless moments with him throughout his life, including Brandon Shaw, Christopher Bogia, Matt Boddy, and Kevin Joiner.

Jay’s life was filled with people, passions, laughter, friendships, family, and memories. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

He will be missed more than words can express, but he will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the sound of an engine, the freedom of an open road, the friendships he treasured, and, most importantly, in the hearts of the people who loved him.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. A viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home. A celebration of Jay’s life will follow the service at Moose Lodge #851, 71 Cherry Hill Road, Elkton, Maryland 21921.

Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Jay, share stories, celebrate the life he lived, and honor the love and memories he leaves behind.
