Janet Elaine (Mars) Salmons

Janet Elaine Mars Salmons, 64 of North East, MD, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.

Born in Elkton, MD on August 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charles William Mars and Irene Mary (Collins) Mars.

Janet was an associate at Wal-Mart in North East, MD and a huge Ravens fan.

Janet is survived by her son: James R. Salmons, Hydes, MD and daughter: Robin Lynn Brison of Elkton, MD; 2 sisters: Phyllis A. Meadows of Newark, DE, Shirley M. Brown of Port Deposit, MD; 3 brothers: John W. Mars of Lake Orchard MI, George L. Mars and Charles A. Mars both of North East, MD. Mrs. Salmons is also survived by her grandchildren: Meghan and Ashley.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband: James R. Salmons, Sr.; and 2 brothers: Donald L. Mars, Sr. and Albert R. Mars, Sr.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
