Jane Thompson

Jane Thompson, 89 of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, August 4, 2005 in the Laurelwood Center, Elkton, MD. Born in Rising Sun, MD, on February 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Martin and the late Jane Biddle Issac. Mrs. Thompson was a life time resident of Cecil County Maryland. Mrs. Thompson was a retired assembly line worker from R.M.R. Corporation, Elkton, Maryland. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Rising Sun, Maryland. She is survived by one son, Martin Thompson of Rising Sun, Maryland, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren which she loved. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by he husband Augustus Thompson in 1963 and her daughter Linda Thompson Carroll in 1999. Friends may call Saturday August 6, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901. Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, Rev. Mark Maxwell of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Rising Sun.
