Jane Brock Sawyers

Jane Brock Sawyers, 66 of Rising Sun, MD, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Pleasant Hill, MD, on January 21, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Martha Lillian (Brooks) Brock.

Jane worked at VFW Post 8185, Port Deposit, MD, both as a bartender and in accounting and also had worked as a home healthcare giver.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 8185, Port Deposit, MD and the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun, MD.

Survivors include her husband: Dan Sawyers;  three daughters: Kimberly B. Meredith of Napa, CA, Cheryl N. Cook of Fair Hill, MD, Jennifer L. Sprout of Fair Hill, MD and one son: Eric S. Coste of North East, MD; and nine grandchildren: Chelsie, Ray, Nick, Erica, Brock, Corey, Summer, Paige and Brittany.

Services are private.
