Jane Louise (Craig) Elmer

Jane Louise Elmer, 65 of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton on October 21, 1946, the daughter of the late Chester and the late Sophie (Foreacre) Craig.

Mrs. Elmer was a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her loving husband: Earl S. "Bob" Elmer, of Rising Sun, MD; her children: Steve French and his wife Lisa of Fredericksburg, VA, Florance Hamilton and her husband Henry of Elkton, MD and Daniel Honaker of North East, MD; 7 grandchildren: Christopher and Sarah French, Steven Moss and his wife Amber, Jessica Moss, Kayla, Amber and Brittany Honaker; 7 step grandchildren; and 2 great grandsons: Ethaniel Cook and Steven Moss, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Perry Honaker.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. James Moyers will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
