James "Ed" Edward Allen

James Edward “Ed” Allen, 87 of Paradise, PA, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Born in VA, on February 2, 1937, he was the son of the late William Jess Allen and Gertrude L (McCraw) Allen. He was married to the late Penny Allen.

Ed retired after 40 years as a truck driver for Delaware Express.

He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.  Ed enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing.

Survived by his siblings: Larry Allen of Elk Creek, VA, Thomas Allen of Elkton, MD, Donna Thomas of Elkton, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ed was preceded by a brother: Weldon Allen.

Private graveside service will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
