James E. Wood

James E. Wood, 79 of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Abington, PA, on May 28, 1931, he was the son of the late James D. and the late Alice Kemp Wood. He was stationed in Germany while serving in the Army. He retired from Fischer & Porter in Warminster, PA where he worked as a Production Manager. He was a member of the Elkmore Community Association and attended Wesley UM Church in Elkton, MD. Survivors include his loving wife: Margaret P. Wood of Elkton, MD: children: Sue Cleaver of Douglasville, PA and James L. Wood of Joppatowne, MD; brother: Art Wood of North East, MD; 1 grandson: David Cleaver and 1 great grandson: Matthew Cleaver both of Havertown, PA. Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Isabel Gardner, will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
