James Henry Tiffany

James Henry Tiffany, 93 of Rising Sun, MD, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 with his daughter and son-in-law, in Rising Sun, MD. Born in Johnstown, PA, on July 12, 1916, he was the son of the late James Edward and the late Harriet Filer Tiffany. He was the husband of the late Helen Kels Tiffany who died on March 29, 2005. Mr. Tiffany served in the Army. He was a Civilian Gunner Foreman, retiring from Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church, Aberdeen, MD, NARFE and American Legion Post #128, Aberdeen, MD Survivors include his daughters: Barbara M. Davis and her husband Robert of Rising Sun, MD, Harriet Cokely and her husband Vincent of Los Angeles, CA, Dolores DeGraaf and her husband Richard of Camden, ME; 6 grandchildren: Mark Davis and his wife Ann of Rising Sun, MD, Cindy Davis-Tomasulo and her husband Carlo of Peach Bottom, PA, Kelly Eckhardt and her husband Cary of Fayetteville, NC, Dana DeGraaf and his wife Trish of Nobleboro, ME, David Cokely of Los Angeles, CA and Sarah Cokely of Los Angeles, CA; and 5 great grandchildren: Stacie, Christopher and Tyler Davis, Heather and Allison Eckhardt. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM.
