James Allen Stanley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Allen Stanley, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who left us on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on October 4, 1958, in Chester County, PA, James lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a true love for his family.

James spent his days operating heavy equipment in the construction industry, proudly employed by Corrado Construction. His work ethic was admired by many, and he took great pride in his role. During James' free time he enjoyed riding his motorcyle on the open road. Beyond his profession, James was a Marine veteran, embodying the spirit of perseverance and service throughout his life.

A devoted family man, James is survived by his fiance', Barbara Adams of Elkton, MD, daughter, Samantha Forrester, of Mountain City, TN, and his son, Nicholas Stanley of Port Deposit, MD, and 2 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother, Shirley; and his siblings: Joyce, Pat, and Lee. Although their hearts are heavy with sorrow, his family cherishes the memories they made with him and the wisdom he imparted.

James is preceded in death by his father, Joe Stanley.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation that will take place at Crouch Funeral Home P.A. , 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A memorial service will follow that same day beginning at 2:00 pm.

James Allen Stanley will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. As we remember him, we celebrate a life lived with passion, integrity, and love. May he rest in peace.
