James Ellsworth Russell, Sr.

James Ellsworth Russell, Sr., age 66 of North East, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, Maryland. Born in North East, Maryland, on March 28, 1937, he was a son of the late James Mulford Russell and Marie Elizabeth Murson Russell. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, Maryland. He retired from Boeing/Vertol Company, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, as a machinist. He enjoyed drag racing and boat racing. Mr. Russell is survived by his children, James Ellsworth Russell, Jr., Townsend, Delaware, Karen Lynn Carson, North East, Maryland, and Samuel James Russell, Elkton, Maryland, 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Russell was preceded in death by a son, Adam Keith Russell, who died January 27, 1999. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2004, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Bay View Cemetery, Bay View, Maryland.
