James Edward Kimball, Jr.

James Edward Kimball, Jr., 84, of Elkton, MD died March 4, 2012 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center, in Havre de Grace, MD. He was born on May 18th, 1927 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late James Edward Kimball Sr. and Doris Chaney Kimball, and lived in the Elkmore area since 1975. He was an avid gardener, reader and football fan. He was a World War II, U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of Loyola College, Baltimore MD. He was employed for ten years in the Production Control Dept. of the former Glen L. Martin Co. at Middle River, MD and for thirty years as a Compliance Officer by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, retiring in 1992. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy H. Dabkowski and her husband Mark A. Dabkowski of Catonsville, MD; M. Rebecca Murray of Rising Sun, MD; a brother, C. Paul, "Buddy" Kimball of Elkton, MD; a sister Doris M. Flach of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters, Christina Dabkowski, Kelly Dabkowski Chiarella and Samantha Murray; a grandson, Steven Murray and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Sigrist Kimball in 1993; his loving son, Edward Frank Kimball in 2006; his son-in-law, Michael Murray and his brother-in-law, John M. Flach in 2011.
