James Warren Huber, Sr., 91, of North East, MD, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at home. Born in Monongahela, PA on January 24, 1914, he was the son of the late Winfield H. and Hattie Jane Sterns Huber. Mr. Huber worked as a Carpenter, employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad for 33 years, and worked for DuPont Security for 20 years. He was a member of Rock Springs Primative Old School Baptist Church. He enjoyed trains and loved music, home movies, videos, and slides of the family. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lauraine Huber of North East, MD; children, Shirley Murray of Rising Sun, MD and James W. Huber, Jr. of North East, MD; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, the late Mary Farmer, the late Florence Culley, and the late Eleanor Culley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2005, at the funeral home. Elder D.A. Stokes, Elder Barnabas Brammer, Rev. Kenneth Murray, and Rev. Sumner Jones will officiate services. Interment will follow services in Harmony Chapel, Conowingo, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 2332, Elkton, MD 21922.
